Cherry Audio’s Elka-X Synthesiser is a modern take on the legendary Synthex, a rare Italian analog synthesiser known for its stable digitally-controlled analog oscillators and flexible four-pole multimode filter. Elka-X preserves the authentic sound of the Synthex and expands upon its feature set with additional touches like chord memory, over 600 pro patches, and flexible MIDI mapping. It also includes studio-quality echo and reverb effects, mono and unison modes, and velocity response, making it a powerful tool for modern studio environments. Elka-X is available in AU, VST, VST3, AAX, and Standalone formats for both Mac and Windows.

• Two-part multitimbral operation: play two different patches simultaneously in either a keyboard split or stacked layer mode, with user-specified split point and discrete controls for layer volume and panning
• 16 polyphonic voices which can be layered or split across the keyboard
• Panel control for selecting layers, with a utility function for exchanging settings between the Lower and Upper sound layers
• Powerful onboard analog chorus effect, as well as studio-quality echo and reverb effects
• Four-track monophonic step-sequencer with real-time recording and transposition, and a complete arpeggiator with independent assignments for both layers
